Some short info about me
My name is Alexandru Plugaru aka "Sasha". I'm 21 and I study Computer Science at UAIC in Iasi. This site should contain a fair amount of info about me and how to contact me.I'm an Open and Free software supporter and developer. Also I'm the person to contact for any info related to local Linux User Group Iasi. I'll provide here the latest news about my projects and myself so stay tuned.
About Me
What I'm made of...
I'm a Republic of Moldova citizen born in Bardar near the capital Chisinau. In Romania I'm nicknamed, by my friends, "Sasha" because, as they think, I got some russian spirit in me (I speak russian) which happens to have a strong reflection on my life style (not drinking style). I finished highschool here in Iasi at the Liceul de Informatica "Grigore Moisil" (computer science highschool). Living in a "foreign" country as a student it's not such an easy thing to do, having in mind not so whealthy situation of my parents. So I got a part-time job, that suited my requirements of time and money. I worked for 3 years as network administrator, security advisor and software developer at a ISP company now part of the Airbites in Iasi, when 2 companies merged I had to find another job and right now I'm working as a php developer at a local software company. I'm mainly experienced with development of medium/big php projects and of course dealing with networking/security issues that could apear in a ISP enviroment.
Now, some information regarding this template. I got it from OSWD which is a very nice resourse of Open Source Web Templates meaning that they are under the GPL licence and are free of charge and they can be freely modified by anyone. There is a nice preview available here.
